The spring/summer 2019 collection was inspired by the shape of the iconic dresses from the 1920s, by the using restored lace, pearls and antique buttons purchased at vintage and antique stores in Paris and by the men’s tailoring.
Pearls inpire the own spring-summer 2019 collection, representing the brand’s DNA and the desire for timeless elegance, in the fabric and embroidery of different monochromatic tones like bege, off-white, raw, nudes, water collored tones in yellow and a mix of silver and gold in the details. The handmade stiches, whether it is in the clothing or the accessories, crochet, or restored antique laces, give a unique and exclusive atmosphere - classic and urban.
The texture of the materials is the preferred element for the designer Marcello De Santis, aligning it with the straight and sometimes unstructured details in the silhouettes. With fabrics such as the linen in the construction of those shapes inspired by the tailoring of the gold years, silk and cotton fabrics in the shirts. Combinations of polyamide and polyester on the pleats suggest urban and hybrid pieces, indentifying a cosmopolitan woman who desires comfortable, classic and unique clothing for her wardrobe.
